With all the restaurants, I never expected Mesa to be one of the few that gives an authentic Filipino flavor. So, if you're planning to treat the whole family, I would recommend Mesa Filipino Moderne, great place with it's interior design, cheap price but quite impressive taste.
Below are the photos of what we ordered. Enjoy! :)
Inihaw Sampler
Grilled chicken leg quarter, squid, liempo, bangus belly, mussels, shrimps and pork bbq.
Tinapa Rice
Stir fried rice tossed with smoked fish flakes and topped with tomatoes and red salted egg.
Crispy Boneless Pata
We also ordered their PalabokAn original recipe of bihon noodles topped with smoke fish and chicharon. It's our family's tradition to order either Pancit or Palabok, but of course we asked what's their best-seller, and there that goes, Palabok. From the photo above, it doesn't look like the usual Palabok, but trust me, it was delicious.
And of course, we're a bit lucky to be seated at a cozy spot. ;)
